Marketyze helps Coocaa reach #1 sales in TV category during Lazada birthday
In January 2019, Coocaa, a smart TV manufacturer and a LazMall brand, partnered with us to reach its’ business plan for Lazada Birthday campaign.
Why did Coocaa need assistance from an agency?
LazMall brands are rewarded by Lazada for being able to commit to ambitious plans – especially for big campaigns. Brands might be asked to commit to certain goals such as driving certain amount of online traffic to their shop-in-shop, secure KOL (Key Opinion Leader or Influencer) to mention the campaign or generate a certain amount of sales. In exchange, LazMall brands can count on support from Lazada during the campaign that can lead to additional revenue.
Our job was to fulfill the business plan that Coocaa committed to which meant driving 20% of all sales and traffic during the campaign. We realized that the challenging part will be to convince the target audience to purchase a smart TV after seeing an ad. It’s not a decision that is made lightly by any household.
The success came from close co-operation, live performance monitoring, exceptional merchandising, Coocaa great product line and utilization of latest tracking capabilities offered by Lazada Marketing Solutions and targeting capabilities by using Facebook Collaborative Ads (also called CPAS).
As a result, we were able to drive nearly 30% of all traffic and sales during the 7th Lazada Birthday campaign for Coocaa, which was 50% above business plan target.
